One of my personal style icons is Iris Apfel. Her style is influential, exotic and creative. At 88 she is still going strong and was recently honored with a show of her irreverent wardrobe at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Rare Bird of Fashion showcased her "collection" in a appropriately irreverent manner. She is a master at mixing and matching. She once said her mother worshipped at the alter of accessory and "I caught the bug". I'll take that bug!
